Certificate Entry Qualifications/Requirements:

1.) Community Health Extension Workers' (CHEW) Course Prospective candidates should possess five (5) credits at WASC, NECO, or GCE O'Level at not more than two (2) sittings.
The five credits must be in the following subjects; Biology or Health Science, English Language, Mathematics and any other two  (2) relevant subjects. A credit in geography or chemistry will be an added advantage. Retrainee JCHEW:
Prospective candidates must be holders of JCHEW certificate with at least two (2) years of post qualification in addition to the requirements above Note: All retrainee JCHEW would be subjected to written examination on the date for the selection interview for the Department of Community Health. 2.) Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEW) Course Prospective candidates must obtain four (4) passes in WASC, NECO, SSSC, or GCE 0 level
